A horrific video of cruelty against animals has surfaced on social media and has gone viral. The incident related to a bear was reported from Sukma district of Chhattisgarh.
A forest official said that the villagers killed the animal. People can be jailed for two years for such crimes.
The video showed the bear in pain with his feet and blood was coming out of his mouth. Some people were seen hitting the animal with sticks. They also took out its nails.
One of them was seen pulling the bear’s ears, while the other hit the animal on his head.
The main conservative of One RC Dugga said that they have watched the video and are trying to find those who tortured and killed the bear.
The Sukma One Division Officer and the Range Officer have formed a team to search for the villagers seen in the video.
Officials announced a reward of Rs 10,000 for anyone, which gives information about those who kill the bear.
