Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who is searching for the fifth consecutive term in the office, said on Sunday that he will be “made” in the NDA, creating the BJP for the increase in power.
JD (U) Supremo, Mr. Kumar, reiterated the stand while addressing the opening ceremony of Khelo India Youth Games, in which thousands of young athletes across the country are participating.
The longest serving CM, who has changed partners several times in the last decade, said, “I am always going to stay here. My party has made me here and some time ago to go here some time ago. But it is not going to happen again. Who made me (CM)?
In particular, Mr. Kumar has been a BJP ally since the mid -1990s, but after dissatisfaction with Narendra Modi in 2013, with his then Gujarat counterpart, gained national prominence.
Although his party drowned in the Lok Sabha elections a year later, and Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, Mr. Kumar managed to catch his ground, thanks to a short -term alliance with RJD President, RJD President, which he dumped to return to NDA in 2017.
The alliance continued until 2022, when Mr. Kumar joined hands with RJD -led Mahagatdanan, vowed to defeat the BJP, in which the former colleague tried to divide the JD (U).
However, ahead of the Lok Sabha elections last year, Septuagenian returned to the NDA, left India’s block, he had helped by bringing parties together in opposition to the BJP.
