BJP MLA Bangalore caught in suicide row

Karnataka congress MLA In form of – After the death of workers suicide, under fire from BJP Vinay somaiia – It is said that he never met the opposition party worker. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s legal advisor Mr. Ponnanna also called the BJP “vultures who politicized death”.

“You know the BJP … it doesn’t surprise me. They are like vultures. Where death occurs, they do not bother to show sensitivity to the family … they will hoist their flags, and politicize the issue.

“I have already expressed my pain and support to the family … but I never talked to him (Shri Somia) and I never met him. I never talked to him … Never” told NDTV.

The only contact, he claimed, was an audio message that he received during the ‘Katemadu incident’ in Kodagu district in December last year, in which a local temple officials allegedly prevented devotees from entering the campus in traditional dress.

Mr. Somia, he claimed, demanded a message “to be removed from all groups”. Mr. Ponnanna said that when he told him that he did not have such a right, “he sent me a very derogatory message”.

He told NDTV, “This is something that I knew much later … that it is the same person. Also, I don’t know (him). In fact, if I had seen him, I would not be able to recognize him,” he told NDTV.

Vinay Somia suicide

Bingay Somaiia, 35, Hengloreu is missing earlier today.

In a note, he accused the police case against him – which he said that he had motivated him to take his life – was politically motivated, and the case was engineered by a Congress leader.

Mr. Somia was the administrator of a WhatsApp group in which an derogatory post about Mr. Ponnana was shared. A police case was later filed and was one of those who arrested Shri Somia. He was then released on bail and started staying in a court in further investigation.

However, in his note, he accused the police and political figures of harassment. He then asked for ‘forgiveness’ and called the BJP’s state unit to help his mother, wife and daughter.

Home Minister Ji Parmeshwar promised to investigate a high level of death.

Speaking to NDTV, Mr. Ponana suspected the claims that the police had harassed Mr. Somia after being in court, and said that it was really, BJP leaders “intervened to the suicide investigation”.

“After staying, is it acceptable to say that the police (to harass Shri Somia)? And the case registered against him was very simple … I think it is a crime. I have to tell you this …”

“BJP leaders, whom I will name at the appropriate time, are interfering with the investigation. They are pressurizing the police to investigate in a special way …” he claimed NDTV.
