New Delhi:
BJP MP Lahar Singh Siroya has made a swipe to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for a mistake in struggling with the history associated with his family and the struggle of India for freedom.
Rahul Gandhi on his official YouTube channel, whose 92 million subscribers talked about Mahatma Gandhi and the first Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru, and he formed a relationship with a journey to take himself into politics.
Stating how Mahatma Gandhi’s fight against colonial power began, Rahul Gandhi said that Mahatma Gandhi was “dropped from a train in Britain”, after which his “great -grandfather and his cousin” took revenge.
In a post on X, Mr. Siroya pointed out an error in Rahul Gandhi’s comment – Mahatma Gandhi’s incident was thrown out of a train in Britain.
“I saw this interview with curiosity as Rahul Gandhi was speaking about his great grandfather Pandit Nehru. However, when I heard him (at 2 minutes 40 seconds) I was very disappointed that Mahatma Gandhi was thrown out of the train in England,” said Mr. Siroya.
“I recorded a video on my other phone so that they do not edit it to cover it later. I have also captured the auto caption in YouTube, which shows what Rahul ji really says. Nobody should learn history from Rahul ji. Even a person like me does not know that Gandhi Gandhi Gandhi Gandhi GEEEEEEEEEEEPESTEMESANEMEMESEMESEMEMESEN BJP MP said that who is a very good person, he did not see this error before releasing the video.
While he was working as a lawyer in Natal, South Africa, Mahatma Gandhi was dropped from the first class train seat on June 7, 1893 while traveling from Durban to Pretoria.
“Rahul ji also says in the video that his great grandfather and his cousin went to Allahabad railway station to take out some British from first class coaches to avenge the insult of Gandhiji. In June 1893, when Gandhiji was dropped from the train in South Africa, Nehru Jia was only 4 years old.” Shri Siroya said.

His swipe in Rahul Gandhi also grazed Sandeep Dixit, son of former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit, who was talking with Rahul Gandhi in YouTube video.
Talking about the conversation, Rahul Gandhi said that this was a podcast -style conversation with Sandeep Dixit for the Nehru Center, where he talked about what he was done – “Chase of Truth” – and how the chase was inspired by his great -grandfather, Jawaharlal Nehru.
“He was not just a politician. He was a seeker, a thinker, someone who went in danger with a smile and became strong. His biggest legacy lies in his untiring discovery of truth – a theory that gave everything shaped, for which he stood …” Rahul Gandhi said.
