New Delhi:
Praising Congress MP Shashi TharoorInternational credit and oratory skills, BJP raised questions about the status of Mr. Tharoor within its party. This comment comes amid a debate Center’s decision to include Mr. Tharoor On April 22, in his diplomatic outreach program with Pahgam terror attack and later military operation against Pakistan, Code-Nam Operation Sindoor.
The political flashpoint between the BJP and the Congress was revealed that Mr. was not included in the Congress official list of recommendations for diplomatic outreach. Party leader Jeram Ramesh said that Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi had presented a list of names to Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, and Mr. Tharoor did not provide the facility in the said list.
“No one can deny Shashi Tharoor’s eloquence, his long experience as United Nations officer and his deep insight on foreign policy matters. So Congress Party – and why Rahul Gandhi has been particularly chosen – he has been chosen to nominate him for a multi -party delegation who are being sent abroad on important issues of India?” Asked BJP spokesperson Amit Malviya. “Is this insecurity? Jealous? Or nobody with intolerance that removes the ‘high command’?”

So why Congress party-and Rahul Gandhi, especially-did not nominate him for a multi-party delegation …

Mr. Ramesh later issued a joy, stating that it is “possible” that Mr. Rijiju spoke with Congress chief Mallikrajun Kharge and Mr. Gandhi.
“It is possible that Mr. Rijiju spoke to Mr. Kharge and Mr. Gandhi after the government made his mind. There is no rift in the party; the party is one. There was no discussion on the name of any person when Mr. Rijiju called Mr. Kharge and Mr. Gandhi. There was no suggestion on A, B, C or D”
Mr. Tharoor, who represents Thiruvananthapuram in the Lok Sabha and presided over the Parliamentary Standing Committee in Foreign Affairs, has been named by the Central Government to visit major global capitals to visit the major global capitals. The objective of these missions is to introduce a United Indian Front in view of the Pahalgam attack, in which 26 people were killed, and fought Pakistan on Kashmir and across the border terrorism.
“When national interests are involved, and my services are required, I will not get it. Jai Hind!” Mr. Tharoor wrote on X.
For presenting our country’s approach to recent events, I have been awarded the invitation of the Government of India for leading a all-party delegation for five major capitals.
I will not get when national interests are involved, and require my services.

The official communication of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs noted that the government has chosen India’s “Articulate Voices” in party lines to project national consensus and firm approaches to combat terrorism in all forms and expressions. Each seven delegation headed by an experienced MP has been tasked to strengthen India’s policy of zero tolerance against terrorism.
Apart from Mr. Tharoor, the list includes BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad and Bajyant Panda, Sanjay Jha of JD (U), Kanmosi of DMK, Supriya Sule of NCP-SP and Srikanth Shinde of Shiv Sena. Four ruling are belonging to the NDA, while three opposition comes from the India block.
“The options for the option of the Congress party to represent India in diplomatic meetings are not only complicated – they are deeply suspicious,” said Mr. Malavia.
Mr. Tharoor has consistently defended India’s aggressive posture after the Pahgam attack and Operation Sindoor in recent interviews and public statements, including cross -border attacks.
This public alignment with the position of the Center, however, triggers inconvenience within its party. Recently, in a meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC), Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Jairam Ramesh and other senior leaders participated, the party’s internal sources say a clear message was stated that “this is not the time to broadcast personal views.” A senior leader allegedly commented that Mr. Tharoor had “crossed Laxman Rekha”.
Jeram Ramesh admitted that Mr. Tharoor’s recent comments did not reflect the party’s official stance. “When Mr. Tharoor speaks, this is his idea, and it is not the party’s stand,” he said.
