The Punjab Police has booked Rapper Badshah on a complaint, alleging that the new song has hurt the religious sentiments of the Christian community.
Police said on Wednesday on Wednesday that the case was registered in Batala, which represented the Global Christian Action Committee.
The complainant alleged that the emperor used the word ‘Church’ and ‘Bible’ in an objectionable manner in his new song ‘Velvet Flow’.
Station House Officer Gurvinder Singh said that on Tuesday, the Qila Lal Singh police station on Tuesday was registered at the Qula Lal Singh Police Station under the respective classes of the Indian Judic Sanaanita to hurt the religious sentiments of the Christian community against Badshah.
A protest was also held against Badshah on the song at Batala on the song at Batala in Batala in Gurdaspur district of Punjab.
