Hyderabad:
Police said a CEO from Hyderabad was arrested when he was allegedly caught after buying a cocaine of five lakh rupees, police said.
34 -year -old Namrata Chigurupati was arrested, when she was receiving drugs in a courier from the Mumbai -based supplier, Dynasty Darkar.
He was caught with Balakrishna, an associate of Dhakkar, who was giving drugs.
Police said that Chigurupati approached Dhakkar through WhatsApp and gave an order for a cocaine of Rs 5 lakh. He transferred the amount online.
Senior police officer Venkana said, “A medical businessman, Namrata, ordered drugs from the dynasty in Mumbai, which he was known. A man named Balakrishna again came to supply (drugs) and handed him over to Radurgam.”
He said, “The police track and caught him. 10,000, 53 grams of cocaine and two cell phones were seized from them,” he said.
Cases under relevant sections have been registered against them, and they have been sent to judicial custody, said Shri Venkana.
During interrogation, he allegedly confessed to spending around Rs 70 lakh on drugs over time.
