After India’s accurate missile strike in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir, Union Minister Amit Shah has asked the border states to be vigilant and ready to respond to any emergency. The Home Minister has also asked the officials to look out for anti-national propaganda on social media platforms and urged them to take difficult action to crack the wrong information, sources have said.

Shri Shah presided over a meeting with Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat and West Bengal, and a representative of a Sikkim government. The meeting was held on video conferencing.

During the meeting, Chief Ministers and Lieutenant Governors appreciated the Narendra Modi government and the armed forces for the success of Operation Sindoor, under which 24 missile attacks were carried out against terrorist infrastructure in nine places.
