Chief Justice Bra Gawai Flags Protocol Gap Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar

New Delhi:

Vice President Jagdeep Dhikar on Monday resonated the Chief Justice of India Bra Gavai and said that the protocol was fundamental as he stressed the absence of the Vice -President’s portrait next to the President and the Prime Minister.

He said that he was also the “victim” of the protocol in a way. “You must have seen the picture of the President and the Prime Minister, but not the Vice President. Once I remove the office, I will make sure that my successor has a picture.” Mr. Dhankhar’s comment on the protocol was on Sunday after the Chief Justice of India (CJI) Gavai that the Chief Secretary of Maharashtra, its Director General of Police or the Mumbai Police Commissioner was not present to receive him during the state’s first visit after he was elevated to the top judicial post.

CJI, who took oath on 14 May, was in Mumbai for a felicitation program by the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa.

Hours after CJI’s comment, all three top officials were present, when CJI Gavai visited the cremation place of BR Ambedkar in Dadar to honor the honor of the prestigious social reformer and the chief architect of the Constitution of India.

Addressing a program in Delhi on Monday, Mr. Dhankhar said that this morning he is “something very important in the country, and it is not for himself … we should believe in protocol”.

Mr. Dhankhar said at a book launch event, “The Chief Justice and Protocol of the country is kept too much. When he indicated it, it was not personal, it was for the situation that he keeps. And I am sure it will be taken into consideration by one and all,” Mr. Dheer said at a book launch event.

The Vice President said, “But I really admire the current CJI to pay attention to the people in the bureaucracy. The protocol is fundamental.”
