Senior Congress leader and MP Jeram Ramesh on Wednesday accused the BJP of politicizing ‘Operation Sindoor’ and said that there are reports that Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Chief Ministers of NDA -ruled states on an effective response to Operation Sindhor and India’s later Pakistan aggression.
“The politicization of Operation Sindoor is wrong. We have never politicized the security issues. Said.
Mr. Ramesh accused the government of remaining silent on the United States leaders comment, which was about a compromise to stop military action and firing between India and Pakistan.
“For the last few days, the Congress party is asking why US President Donald Trump announced the ceasefire between India and Pakistan. This is happening for the first time. PM Modi says nothing on this. US state secretary Marco Rubio says that the role of America was so important that this war did not respond to it? …” He further said.
The Congress said that ‘Jai Hind’ rallies will be organized in various states to ask the government questions.
The Congress leader said, “We have decided that we are going to organize ‘Jai Hind Sabha’ rallies in 10-15 states. Our senior party leaders will participate in them, and we will raise many questions to the Prime Minister. Many questions have already been asked from our party.
The Congress expressed support for the armed forces in all its efforts against terrorism.
“We stand with our armed forces like a rock. We stand against terrorism, and we give full support to the work done against Pakistan. We also demanded that an all-party meeting be called … Two all-party meetings were held, but PM Modi was not present in any of those meetings. Pahalgam terrorist attack,” he said.
India launched Operation Sindor in response to the Pahalgam terror attack in which 26 people were killed. More than 100 terrorists died in India’s exact attack in Pakistan and Pojk on 7 May.
