Ali Khan Mahmudabad, Associate Professor of Political Science at Ashok University, was arrested yesterday, when two FIRs were registered for a social media post against him, Operation Sindoor, to avenge the Pahlgam terror attack on India’s counterstroke. The allegations include endangering India’s sovereignty and integrity, consulting the consumption for public mischief, insulting the humility of a woman, and intentionally involved with the aim of promoting enmity among various groups on the basis of religion.
Haryana State Commission Chairman Renu Bhatia filed a complaint against Mr. Khan.
