Congress for its diplomatic outreach nominations on the snub of the center

New Delhi:

The Congress has accused the BJP of politicizing Operation Sindoor, in which only one of the four names was suggested to all party delegation for the international community. However, the Congress said that it will first have national interest and will not intervene at this level.

“The government had mischievous intentions since the beginning, adding four more names, which were not in our list,” a senior Congress leader and charge in the party’s communication.

Senior party leader Rahul Gandhi, Mr. Ramesh said, four names were sent – Anand Sharma, Gaurav Gogoi, Nasir Hussain and Raja Brar. But only one – Anand Sharma – accepted.

However, the Center has chosen some other Congress leaders – including Shashi Tharoor – which was not in the party’s official list.

These MPs, Mr. Ramesh said, they are not representatives of the party, but they should “listen to their conscience and do not politicize it”.

“The Congress party believes that the national interest is paramount … Let the MPs go … We will not be able to stop them, we will not boycott this delegation. We do not politicize it,” Mr. Ramesh said.

After Operation Sindor, the government has taken a major initiative to send teams of leaders – cut into party lines – to brighten them and explain the “collective resolution on terrorism” to major countries.

The list was posted on X, earlier by Twitter, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju yesterday.

“A mission. A message. One India. One India. Seven All-party delegations will soon attach major countries under Operation Sindoor, which reflect our collective resolution against terrorism,” Mr. Rijiju said in his post.

Apart from Mr. Tharoor, the Center has chosen Amar Singh and Manish Tiwari.

Ravi Shankar Prasad will lead the delegation of Britain, France, Germany, European Union, Italy and Denmark.

Shashi Tharoor, who was a diplomat before joining full -time politics, will take delegations to America, Panama, Guyana, Brazil and Colombia.

The delegation led by Sanjay Kumar Jha will fly to Indonesia, Malaysia, Republic of Korea, Japan and Singapore.
