Congress leader Jeetu Patwari accused of Rs 11 crore

Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Jitu Patwari has alleged a new scam in the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, claiming that a person was cut by a snake 38 times and withdrew Rs 11 crore for this purpose.

Mr. Patwari claimed that such a snakebite scam was never heard, and the incident was reported in Soni district.

Talking to reporters, Mr. Patwari said, “We have seen various types of corruption and irregularities, but under the rule of CM Mohan Yadav, a person, a person who is a resident of Seoni district, was cut by snakes 38 times and provided by the state government for snakebite, which was provided by the state government for snakebite. Never heard about the snake bite related to any scam, but it was not heard in Madhya Pradesh.

According to sources, an alleged financial irregularity has been reported in Sony district, where about 47 people were declared dead several times and that too with snake bite.

A compensation of Rs 4 lakh in the case of death due to snakebite, which is provided by the state government, was provided in each case, resulting in an alleged scam of Rs 11.26 crore.

In the list of fake dead residents, a person was shown dead 30 times in various documents due to snakebite, and so, another person was declared dead 19 times. The irregularity includes various officers and was also investigated by a team of the Financial Department.

Rohit Singh Kaushal, Divisional Joint Director (Treasury and Accounts), Jabalpur said that a team investigated the matter and presented its report to the Soni Collector for further action.

“The Finance Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh has directed us to investigate the issue of Keoleri Tehsil in Soni district, after which we established an investigation team. I reached there with the team and investigated the matter. We prepared a report and submitted to the Cinoni Collector and our senior officials. In our report, we specify various irregular transactions,” said Shree Kaushal.
