Defense Staff chief General Anil Chauhan on Sunday conducted a strategic review of the fighter readiness of the Indian Army in the northern and western theaters of the force after Operation Sindoor.
In separate visits to the two important orders playing a major role during the operation, General Chauhan appreciated the overall coordination and timely achievement of the works in challenging circumstances.
The Defense Staff (CDS) emphasized the importance of continuous vigilance, jointness and coordination in services to address “the dangers to be developed”, while conducting a strategic review and operational evaluation.
The apex military officer also promoted two orders to help in rehabilitation of citizens targeted by “opponents”.
The Army said that at the headquarters of the Northern Command in Udhampur in Jammu and Kashmir, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma informed General Chauhan on operations as well as efforts to eliminate terrorism in the union area.
“In Udampur, the head of the defense employees was informed on the success of the Northern Army in neutralizing the terrorist network, said adverse assets supporting terror and counter measures to protect their military property and civil population during Operation Sindoor,” said this.

In the Chandimandir, CDS was briefly informed by the forces during Operation Sindoor on the Kinetic and non-Cenritic reaction by the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Katir.

Under Operation Sindor, India made accurate attacks on nine terrorist infrastructure in early 7 May in response to the Pahgam terror attack on 22 April.
After Indian action, Pakistan tried to attack Indian military bases on 8 May, 9 and 10. Pakistani efforts were strongly responded to by the Indian side.
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri announced on 10 May that India and Pakistan reached an understanding to prevent all firing and military functions on land, air and sea with immediate effect.
