New Delhi:
The Delhi Airport said on Monday that the operation is currently smooth, but some flight programs and security checkpoint processing time may be affected.
About 100 flights to the Delhi Airport were canceled on Sunday.
Security measures were extended and at least 32 airports in the northern and western parts of the country were temporarily closed in view of the conflict between India and Pakistan.
On Saturday, India and Pakistan reached an understanding to prevent all firing and military functions on land, wind and sea with immediate effect.
In a post on X on Monday, Dial said that the operations of the airport are currently smooth.
“However, due to changing the airspace situation and increased safety measures, some flight programs and security checkpoint processing time may be affected,” said this.
Dial has advised the passengers to cooperate with the airline and security personnel for smooth convenience along with increased measures.
Delhi International Airport Limited (Dial) operates Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) of National Capital, which is the busiest airport in the country.
