Delhi man crushed teenager’s head with a cylinder after catching him with his wife: Police

New Delhi:

A police officer said on Wednesday that a 17 -year -old boy was crushed with a gas cylinder with his head, when a man caught his wife in a compromise position in Pink Nagar in North Delhi.

The official said that the accused, known as Mukesh Thakur (25), was arrested at the crime site and was later sent to judicial custody.

According to the police, neighbors outside the house received a PCR call at 10.53 am after seeing the blood in the drain.

When the police reached the spot, they found that one person was lying in a pool of blood, while another person was present in the same room, said the Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Raja Barthia.

He said that the boy had reached Delhi about 10 days ago in search of work and was living in Thakur’s house as a tenant through an acquaintance of Thakur’s wife Sudha.

During the preliminary investigation, it was revealed that on the night of 19 and 20 May, Thakur and minor boy consumed alcohol.

Later that night, Thakur found the teenager in a compromise position with his wife, the officer said.

The next morning, after Sudha left for a toy factory in Roshanara, an argument broke out between the two men. The DCP said in a fit of anger, Thakur allegedly hit Jatin several times with a small gas cylinder, killing him on the spot.

Around 9.30 pm, neighbors saw blood in the drain outside the house and knocked on the door, but they did not get any response initially.

However, later, Thakur opened it, and found that the victim’s body was lying in a pool of blood. As Thakur tried to escape, the neighbors locked him inside the room and alerted the police, he said.

A case has been registered, and the body has been sent for postmortem. Police said that further investigation is going on.
