Delhi on high alert, government employees’ leave was canceled amid Indo-Pak tension


New Delhi:

A high alert looked in Delhi, and the leaves of all the city government employees were canceled as with hostility between India and Pakistan, with several border areas, including Jammu, coming under cross -border shelling.

India Gate, the prestigious war memorials were asked to leave the walk, and the traffic was regulated there. Announcements were made by the police, asked people to vacate the area.

Officials said that the District Magistrates held meetings with their subordinates to review health and disaster management preparations in any emergency with their subordinates.

A police officer said, “The police will be vigilant and will keep active. The night vigilance has intensified. We will deploy additional forces in every sensitive area.”

In a late evening order, the Service Department of the Delhi Government banned its employees from going on leave till further orders.

An official from New Delhi district said that a review meeting was held to investigate the preparations for the Health Department and the Disaster Management Mechana.

Another official of the East Delhi District Administration said that they are analyzing the quick response system and identifying the gaps.

Security was increased in the national capital with additional forces, including paramilitary personnel, which was deployed in major establishments.

Police sources said that special commissioners of all areas are holding meetings with deputy commissioners of all 15 districts.

There is a security beef between an armed conflict between India and Pakistan. The Pakistani Army last night tried to target Avantpura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bhatinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Phalodi, Uttaralai and Bhuj. The efforts were thwarted, and a Pakistani air defense system in Lahore was destroyed.

“All DCPs are actively monitoring the law and order in their areas. They have already informed their officials like ACP and Shos. DCPs are monitoring their territory personally and the Delhi Police is ready to deal with any kind of situation,” said the source.

According to an official, vigilance has increased in malls, markets, metro stations, hotels, residential colonies, airports and other crowded places.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Abhishek Dhania said in a statement, “As part of anti -terrorism measures, the police conducted a complete security inspection in Mayur Vihar Charan -1 metro station, an important public installation. During the journey, CISF personnel were informed, and a concentrated coordination meeting was held.” He said, “The station is secured with monitoring 41 operating CCTV cameras.

Bomb settlement squads checked anti-repoties at many places.

DCP (Southwest) Surendra Chaudhary said, “The BDS team of the district conducted anti-repotase checks at malls, markets, hotels and important places to ensure public safety in the entire district. Exercise strengthened vigilance and preparations against possible threats.”

Police investigation in the city, especially in border areas, all vehicles entering Delhi have been investigated.
