Police said on Sunday that in a shocking incident, in a shocking incident, a man refused to refuse his six -year -old son to give water to a colony in Gurugram.
Police on Saturday arrested Suman Kumar Singh, a native of Muzaffarnagar district in Bihar from Shakti Nagar area.
On 6 May, the police came to know from the Civil Hospital that a child named Satyam was admitted to the facility in an injured condition.
Police said the boy was referred to as Pagims Rohtak as his condition deteriorating, where he died during treatment. On May 7, the child’s mother lodged a complaint with Sector 10 police station, after which the police registered an FIR.
Police said Singh, who was arrested after an investigation on Saturday, was sent to judicial custody.
During interrogation, the accused, who worked as a laborer, said that he did not get any work on May 6, he returned home and started drinking alcohol.
“When he asked his son to give him water, Satyam refused. He then slapped Satyam, who threatened to complain to his mother. In a fit of anger, Singh beat Satyam’s head against the wall several times, causing him to be seriously injured. The child was later injured during treatment.”
