Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Saturday that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj should not be limited to Maharashtra and every Indian should be taught about the founder of the Maratha Empire, which is a perfect of service for motherland and good governance.
On the anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s death, Union Minister Shah said: “Shivaji’s story should be taught to every Indian. It should be taught to every child. Do not limit Shivaji Maharaj to Maharashtra. The country and the world are taking inspiration from him.”
He further said, “The pride of one’s religion, the aspiration of Swarajya and three ideas to immortalize someone’s language which are not associated with the boundaries of the country, but for the self-esteem of human life. When the invaders took power on us, they fully presented the mindset of slaves.
Union Minister Shah said: “Rajmat Jijau produced good values in the mind of young Shivaji. He also inspired him to restore Swaraj, Swadharma and language. He gave Shivaji the idea of uniting and freeing the whole country as a child. Jajau Maheb also motivated Shivaj Maharaj.
The Union Minister said, “I came after many years. I cannot salute the throne and express emotions in my heart. Who made a desire to die for Swadharma, Swarajya. I stand here and cannot describe it in words,” the Union Minister said.
He said, “From Attok to Cutka and Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and other places, the whole country saw the dream of self -rule becoming a reality,” he said, remembering the great leader.
