Damoh (Madhya Pradesh) ::
Narendra Vikramaditya Yadav, aka Dr. An John Kamam, a person who appeared as a UK-Return cardiologist and treated dozens of patients at Mission Hospital without a valid medical license will remain in police custody for five days.
His arrest came in view of a harsh revelation: He allegedly underwent 15 surgery in 45 days. Seven patients died.
As he was taken to a local court today under heavy security, angry locals attempted to assault him.
The exclusive investigation of NDTV has highlighted the layers of deception in this chilling case.
From fake medical degrees to medical equipment stolen, Narendra Yadav’s story is a disturbing story of fraud and systemic inspection.
Hospital theft is accused of theft
Yadav did Dr. to work within Mission Hospital, Damoh. N John Kama adopted the name. And he not only accuses him of forgery, fraud and endangering life, the hospital has also accused him of theft.
From 2 February received by NDTV, the CCTV footage showed him to the hospital with an individual bouncer carrying a suitcase. The suitcase allegedly had a portable eco machine, which was now stolen.
Pushpa Khare, manager of Mission Hospital, said, “They gave a price of Rs 5-7 lakh to our portable eco machine. We have filed a complaint.”
Fake degrees
NDTV has detected the alleged degree of Narendra Yadav: MBBS from North Bengal Medical College, MRCP from St. George Hospital, London, DM (Cardiology) from Pondicherry University.
However, these credentials are not under investigation.
Sources said that MBBS registration number belongs to a female doctor, and there is no reliable record for other qualifications.
“The degree appears to be fake and converted,” was confirmed by senior police officer SP Shrutkirti Somvanshi.
He said, “His mobile, tab, and even emails suggest a fed identity. He has been applying a doctor for seven or eight years in Madhya Pradesh. We are questioning him using medical vocabulary to verify the limit of his knowledge or in the absence of it,” he said.
This is not the first time Yadav’s fraud practices came to light.
In 2006, he worked at Rajendra Prasad Shukla, Speaker of the former Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly at Apollo Hospital. Sources said that eight patients died during his tenure.
Even at that time, the investigation pointed to a fake MBBS degree.
Anil Shukla, who retired as the judge of the High Court and the son of the late speaker, said, “I was present when I was present. I was suspicious after removing the catheter.”
“Despite the Apollo Hospital to brand her as a London-Return specialist,
We were misled. The case is entitled to an investigation by a High Court judge, “he said.
Chief Medical and Health Officer of Bilaspur, in Chhattisgarh, Dr. Pramod Tiwari has now taken action against Apollo Hospital. A formal notice has been issued to the hospital management, which has a detailed description on the appointment of a fake doctor.
The hospital has been asked to present and clarify all the documents of their educational qualification and clarify what action was taken against the death of several patients including the former president.
A Congress delegation, meanwhile, visited Apollo Hospital and demanded details about the appointment of Narendra Yadav and the verification process of his documents.
In his 42-day tenure at Damoh Mission Hospital, Emposter examined about 70 patients and performed 15 surgery, of which seven proved fatal.
The Chief Medical and Health Officer or CMHO and the agency will also be questioned on the agency providing the facility to recruit, Ms. Somvanshi said.
“We are seeing who is responsible from the agency to the hospital officials. CMHO’s statement will also be recorded,” the officer confirmed.
The matter highlights the systemic failure that is spread through the verification process of the hospital, lack of proper hard work by the medical council, and the wrong belief of the families to mourn the loss of their loved ones.
