Director of Federal Investigation Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Kash Patel on Sunday condemned the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir and assured the Government of India continuously support in his fight against terrorism.
Mr. Patel “the evils of terrorism makes our world’s face constantly reminiscent of the threats.”
The cruel attack, which took place on April 22 and had killed 26 people, was carried out by Resistance Morcha (TRF), a proxy of Lashkar-e-Taiba (late) in Pakistan. This has expressed comprehensive diplomat and public displeasure within both India and international level.
Taking X, Mr. Patel wrote, “FBI sends our condolences to all the victims of the recent terrorist attack in Kashmir – and will continue to provide our full support to the Government of India.”
He said, “It reminds of constant dangers that our world is from the evils of terrorism. Pray for the affected people. Thanks to men and women of law enforcement, who respond to calls in moments like these,” they further said.
In a demonstration of solidarity, US President Donald Trump also spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi a day after the attack, who strongly condemns the Act of Terror.
“President Donald Trump called PM Narendra Modi and expressed his deep condolences to the loss of innocent life in the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir. President Trump strongly condemned the terror attack and expressed full support to India to justice the criminals of this heinous attack.
Although Trump first offered to mediate between India and Pakistan during his first term, he refused to renew the proposal when a reporter inquired to attend the funeral of Pope Francis during a news Gagle N route by a reporter.
Asked if he was concerned about the situation and if he planned to talk to the leaders of India and Pakistan, Trump replied, “There has been tension on the border for 1500 years, exaggerating the history of controversy.
“But they will understand it in a way or another. I am sure I know the two leaders,” he said.
Despite not showing no intention of mediation, Trump and his officials were intensified to condemn the Pahalgam terrorist attacks and pledge for India.
Tulsi Gabbard, American director of National Intelligence, also increased condolences and support for India’s efforts to provide justice to criminals.
Posting on X, Gabbard wrote, “We are with you and support you because you hunt those responsible for this heinous attack.”
