Former messenger US Hussain Haqqani on stress with India Pahgam Terror Attack Operation Sindoor

New Delhi:

Pakistan should close terrorist organizations to avoid further conflict with India, as the Pahgam terror attack had brought the country to the brink of war, formerly the United States Pakistani Ambassador Hussain Hakkani said.

Mr. Hakani, a senior partner of the Hudson Institute, said that Pakistan has a well-equipped military, but Lashkar-e-Taiba (Let), Jai-e-Mohammed, Sipah-e-Mohammed-Mohammad-e-Mohammed-e-Mohammed-E-Walking Council has been questioned.

He said in a post on X on Wednesday, “A terrorist attack in Pahalgam brought India and Pakistan to the verge of total war. In future, to avoid this, it is important to close jihadi groups.” “Why does the country need Lashkar, Sipah, Jaish, and their Diffa-e-Watan Parishad, with well-equipped armed forces?” He said.

India has repeatedly slammed Pakistan to fail to work against the infrastructure of terrorists on its soil.

On the night of 7 and 8 May, India launched Operation Sindoor and destroyed the infrastructure in nine terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK), killing 26 tourists in Pahgam, Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April. The attack was one of the deadliest attacks in the valley since the 2019 Pulwama strike. The resistance front, a shadow group of the banned Pakistan -based Late Terror Group, claimed responsibility.

Operation vermilion, however, increased bilateral tension as this led to attacks and counter-running between the two countries. Pakistani works were strongly responded to by the Indian side.

On May 10, India and Pakistan arrived on an agreement to prevent all firing and military action on land, air and sea from 5 pm. However, Pakistan violated the agreement that it was within a few hours of implementation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, himself First address to the nation Ever since the struggle erupted, it has been said that the operation against Pakistan has been kept only in Abhay and the future would depend on their behavior.

On Thursday, External Affairs Minister K Jaishankar said India’s relations and behavior with Pakistan will be strictly “bilateral”, which has been a national consensus for many years and there is no “change” in that consensus.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said on Friday Pakistan has started reconstructing terrorist infrastructure which was destroyed in attacks by Indian forces. He said that Operation Sindoor proved that the Indian forces are capable of reaching every corner of Pakistan.

He also said that India would like to reconsider the International Monetary Fund to Pakistan’s assistance of USD 1 billion.
