Google last week transferred the Gemini 2.5 Pro Artificial Intelligence (AI) model to public preview. Mountain view-based tech veteran released its latest flagship tier AI model as an experimental preview with limited rate limits last month. But now, those using Gemini Application Programming Interface (API) or those who reach models through Google AI Studios will get high rate limit. The company also announced pricing for high rate limitations, and claimed that it was keeping them competitive.

One in blog postTech giant said the Foundation model is now available as a public preview with a high rate limit at Mithun API at Google Studio. In particular, the AI model is yet to be released on vertex AI, and the company said it would be added to the stage soon.
Coming for pricing, Gemini 2.5 Pro is now available in two pricing levels. The first is available with a 2,00,000 token or regular rate limit of less. A developer has terminated the rate limit regularly at a time and goes beyond that.
Within the regular rate limit, Gemini 2.5 Pro will cost $ 1.25 (about 107 rupees) per million input tokens and $ 10 (about 858 rupees) per million output token. Input tokens include lessons, pictures, audio and videos, and the output price is adjusted to the logic token.
Beyond the 2,00,000 token rate limit, the developers will be charged every million input tokens and $ 15 (about 1,290 rupees) per million (about Rs. 214) for output tokens. In particular, the experimental version of the Gemini model remains free with low rate range.
Tech giant says the model price has been “competitively”, and comparing its prices to the contestants, the Gemini 2.5 Pro model seems quite cheaper. For example, the major model of anthropic, Cloud 3.7 sonnet, Cost $ 3 per million input tokens and $ 15 per million output token.
AI Space in space Google’s major rival, Openai, Charge More for its logic model too. The O1 AI model has an input price of $ 15 per million input tokens and $ 60 (about Rs 5,150) per million output token. However, the company makes a provision for cashed input tokens and is a discounted $ 7.5 (about 640 rupees) per million.
