Security agencies have identified three terrorists involved in plotting the Pahalgam terror attack in which 25 tourists and a Kashmiri Pony ride operator were shot dead in cold blood. Two of them are in Lashkar-e-Tabiba chief Hafeez Saeed and his sub Saifulla Kasuri-Pakistan, and third, Hashim Mosa, is considered hidden in Jammu and Kashmir.
Sources in the security establishment have said that Hashim Mosa is hidden somewhere in the forests of South Kashmir and an all-out operation has been started to track it. Terrorists, security agencies are afraid, Pakistan will try to escape. Jammu and Kashmir Police has announced a reward of Rs 20 lakh for any information about Hashim Mosa and assured that the identity of the informer will be kept secret.
According to sources, the objective is to arrest Hashim Mosa alive, as it will establish the role of Pakistan in the heinous terrorist attack. Hashim Mosa, it has learned, served as a para-kando in Pakistan’s Special Services Group. Later he joined Lashkar-e-Tabiba and has been a part of many terrorist attacks since then. He learned to enter India in 2023.
In October last year, Hashim Mosa was involved in a terrorist attack in Genderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir, killing seven people. He was involved in an attack in Baramullah that killed four security personnel. According to security agencies, Hashim Mosa Valley has been part of at least six terrorist attacks.
Investigation of the initiative tragedy found that Hashim Mosa was one of the leading criminals of Chilling Terror Attack who targeted innocent people. Other people involved have been identified as Adil Thokar and Asif Sheikh. The police has declared a reward of Rs 20 lakh for each of them.
Pahalgam tragedy has brought relations between India and Pakistan to the rock bottom. New Delhi has suspended the Indus Water Treaty and Visa services for the citizens of Pakistan.
