High Court to hear the argument of tomorrow on Pahgam comment against Robert Vadra

Lucknow:

The Allahabad High Court will hear her comment on the Pahgam terror attack on a petition filed against Robert Vadra, husband of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Wadra on Friday.

The petition against Mr. Wadra has been filed by the Hindu Front before the Lucknow bench of the High Court and by others. It was listed on Wednesday to hear in front of a bench of Justices Rajan Roy and Om Prakash Shukla, but it could not be heard.

This petition has demanded that the Center be directed to form a special investigation team (SIT) to examine the comments of Mr. Wadra.

The petition has also demanded that action should be ordered against the businessman under various provisions of the Indian Judge Code (BNS).

Twenty -six people, most of the tourists, were killed and many were injured when militants set fire to a meadow on 22 April near Pahalgam, a popular tourist city in Anantnag district of South Kashmir.

Congress Parliamentary Party chief Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law and party MP Rahul Gandhi’s brother-in-law, Mr. Vadra suggested that non-Muslims were targeted in Pahgam as terrorists feel that Muslims are being “misunderstanding” in the country.
