The national capital has reported 23 Covid-19 cases, so the Delhi government asked all hospitals to prepare for the availability of beds, oxygen, medicines and vaccines to issue a advisory.
On Friday, Health Minister Pankaj Singh said that till Thursday, 23 Kovid -19 cases have been reported and the government is confirming the details whether the patients are residents of Delhi or have a history of travel outside the city.
Singh said in a statement, “The Delhi government is fully prepared to deal with any situation. We have already coordinated with all medical superintendents, doctors and their teams in hospitals in the capital.”
The statement stated that in the context of preparations, hospitals and health facilities are kept cautiously, and all necessary resources are being collected to ensure rapid response and care.
The Health Department continues to monitor the status closely and will provide timely updates to the public, said that citizens are advised to follow all health and safety guidelines and cooperate with the authorities as required.
Earlier, the Health Department had issued an advice to all Delhi government hospitals about Covid-19 preparations.
