How twins in Madhya Pradesh earned double with fake degrees


Damoh, Madhya Pradesh:

What could be in one of the most adventurous education scams in Madhya Pradesh, twin sisters, using the same name and the same BA marksheet, acquired teaching jobs in different government-run schools, which belonged to one of them.

For 18 years, both attracted salary, taught children and remained indecent.

Each sister earned more than Rs 80 lakh during his tenure of his fraud, which was a joint drum of Rs 1.6 crore.

The matter came to light only when both applied for job transfer in the same school, which raised suspicion of the education department.

The department suspended one of Dipendra Soni’s wife and sisters. Other, Rashmi, Vijay Soni’s wife, is on run.

The irony is that both the documents were teaching moral science practicing forgery.

Damoh District Education Officer SK Nemam said, “One used the original marksheet, the other presented a fake copy. When both gave separate documents for verification, the truth began to be revealed.”

19 fake teachers in Damoh, only 3 rejected

These are not separate events. A departmental investigation has revealed that 19 teachers in Damoh were admitted on the basis of fake or suspicious documents.

Nevertheless, so far only three have been rejected. The remaining 16 are still teaching students.

These 19 teachers have collectively withdraws more than Rs 22.93 crore in salary in years.

Another shocking case includes Neelam Tiwari and Asha Mishra – twins married the brothers of the same family – who were working in Mainwar schools and Gadhola Khande with a fake deed certificate.

Several complaints have reached Bhopal, Jabalpur and even the High Court, which ordered action by 9 April.

But most of the accused continue to pay and teach.
