The Huawei Pura 80 series will be introduced in China later this month and now we have an accurate launch date. Huawei has also confirmed the operating system details of the series. The lineup includes a Pura 80, Pura 80 Pro, a Pura 80 Pro+ and an ultra variant, unveiled in the country in April 2024.

Huawei Pura 80 Series will be launched Local time (12pm IST) in China at 2:30 pm on 11 June, according to a Weibo Post by the company. The post shows that all handsets in the upcoming lineup will be ships with harmonous 5.0.
No other official details about the upcoming Huawei Pura 80 series are yet available. However, tipster fixed focus digital (translated from Chinese) recently claimed in a Weibo Post that Pura 80 video recording capacity “It is terriblely strong.” This may mean that Pura 80 Series will arrive with one or several a powerful camera setup.

Another tipster, Tempe (@Rodent950), allegedly shared Huawei Pura 80’s camera specification In an X post. According to the tipster, the handset can carry a quad rear camera unit, which includes a 1-inch 50-megapixel primary sensor with variable aperture, dual focal length with a 1-megapixel primary sensor, 1/1.3-inch 50-megapixel sensor, 40-megapixel ultravide shooter and 2-megapixel color temperature sensors.
Given the large sensor sizes, we can see this camera in one of the high-end Pro+ or Ultra Huawei Pura 80 variants. Tipster also shared a leaked image of the alleged camera module. The four sensors are placed with a tablet -shaped LED flash unit within a triangular island.
In particular, the base Huawei Pura 70 models have a 50-megapixel main sensor with variable aperture and OIS, 13-megapixel ultra-wide shooter and a 12-megapixel periscope telephoto camera at the back. Meanwhile, the top-of-the-line Pura 70 Ultra comes with a return 1-megapixel primary sensor with a variable aperture, a 40-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 50-megapixel macro telephoto shooter with OIS and autofocus support.
