Police sources told NDTV that the body of a Hungarian tourist, who had been missing since March 29, was found in a disintegrated state in Cherpunji, Meghalaya. The Meghalaya Police started a search-and-resurrection operation to find Zsolt Puskas.
After disappearing for nearly four days, the Hungarian Embassy alerted the local police on 2 April, after which the police began a search operation with the Home Guard, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and the local volunteers.
His body discovered in a partially disintegrated state, in Ramdit village, was found in a remote, vertical area, along with the path of Tirna in Shela in Cherrapunji, Meghalaya, which suggests a possible contingent decline.
Police sources said an investigation revealed that Zsolt had examined a hotel in Laitumkhrah on March 29 at 3:45 am and checked a few hours later at 9:00 am. He then rode in a local taxi, who dropped him in Mavashev near Sohra by noon.
