Samba:
Officials said an army personnel died of a bullet injury from a service rifle inside a post near the international border in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district.
28 -year -old soldiers of Telangana, 28 -year -old soldiers, were on orange duty at Seema Chowki Saroj, when they died on the service rifle, causing him to die on the spot.
The incident took place at 4:30 pm and preliminary investigation suggested that the soldier committed suicide, he said.
However, the motive behind taking such an extreme step was not immediately known, the officials said.
He said that the police has started the inquiry proceedings and further details are awaited.
