After four days of enmity that worries the world, India and Pakistan have agreed to a ceasefire by stopping all military action till 5 pm.
Shortly after US President Donald Trump announced on his true social platform, India confirmed the ceasefire.
“After a long night of the intermediary conversation by the United States, I am happy to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a complete and immediate ceasefire. Congratulations to both countries on using general knowledge and great intelligence. Thank you for paying attention to the matter!” Trump posted.
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said in a brief statement, “The directors of the military operations (DGMOS) of India and Pakistan agreed that the two sides would stop all firing and military action on land, air and sea from 5 pm.”
He said, “Instructions have been given on both sides to influence this understanding. The Director General of Military Operations will talk again in 1200 hours on May 12.”
India said that Pakistan DGMO started the call this afternoon, after which there was a discussion and a understanding.
“There is no decision to interact on any other issue at any other place,” sources said.
Taking precautions after the ceasefire, the government said that they remain “fully prepared” and “ever-elaborate” and will invite any increase in the future by Pakistan in the future.
The ceasefire with Pakistan is a conditional and there is no change in India’s position on diplomatic measures against the neighboring country, including suspension of the Indus Water Treaty, sources have said.
Shortly before the success, India warned that “any work of terror would be considered a war task”.
After the declaration of the ceasefire, India’s statements underlined that warning.

Already horrific relations between India and Pakistan made a big hit, when terrorists set fire to a famous meadow near the city of Pahgam in Jammu and Kashmir, called “Mini Switzerland”, on 22 April and tourists started firing around the restaurants, riding a pony or picnicing. 26 people were killed in the attack. India blamed Pakistan for the attack, an allegation denied by Islamabad.
India launched a counterantric, codenamed operation vermilion in the early hours of Wednesday, which was a reaction to an attack in Pahalgam and 9 terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan.
This was followed by a wave of Pakistani attacks using drones and other monks, which India said that its army was “retaliated”, which “replied” to Islamabad’s aggression.
Before the broker claimed peace, the US said “We are not going to join the middle of the war that is fundamentally none of our business”.
The US President soon after the announcement that a success was achieved, his state secretary Marco Rubio said that he and Vice President JD Vance are associated with Indian and Pakistani officials, including Prime Ministers of the two countries, including the broker to do a truss.
“In the last 48 hours, @VP Vance and I have been engaged with senior Indian and Pakistani officials, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Shahbaz Sharif, External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Chief of Army Staff, Asim Munir, and National Security Advisors Ajit Dawal and Asim Malik announced to communicate.
