India expands the aerspace closure for Pak Airlines by 23 June

According to sources, India on Friday shut down its airspace for flights run by Pakistan Airlines.

On April 30, a ban was imposed in view of the Pahalgam terror attack against Pakistan as part of various measures taken by the government, in which 26 people were killed to end on 26 May (Saturday).

According to Fresh Notam released on Friday, the Indian aircraft will not be available for aircraft registered in Pakistan as well as Pakistan Airlines and operators, ownership or leased aircraft.

According to the noteem, the ban will also apply to Pakistan’s military aircraft.

Pakistan has extended the ban on its airspace for Indian flights for a month till June 24.

On 24 April, Pakistan banned its airspace for India till 23 May, when the Government of India suspended the Indus Water Treaty with Pakistan.

On 23 April, a day after Pahalgam’s attack, India announced punitive measures against Pakistan, in which the Indus Waters Treaty was suspended, crossing the only operating land border in the attic and downgrating diplomatic relations in view of cross-limit links for massacre.

In response, Pakistan shut down its airspace for Indian airlines and suspended all trade with India through third countries.
