India Pakistan, Operation Sindoor, DGMO, Kargil: “Pakistan’s inseparable, lies are part of their ethos”: East-Army Chief Neck Vij

New Delhi:

The role of Director General of military operations is in mind after a recent ceasefire between India and Pakistan, after a call between the officials ranked in the two countries was announced after a call.

The situation, including the plan and maintenance of military operations, was equally important – if it is not – when India and Pakistan fought the Kargil war in 1999. At that time the person occupying the post was Nirmal Chander Vij, who became an army chief in 2005 and played an important role in the decision to build with a 740 -Cimy.

In a special interview with NDTV on Friday, General Vij (retired) said that, after Operation Sindoor-India hit terrorist bases in Pakistan, including the headquarters of Lashkar-e-Tabiba and Jai-e-Mohammed-A clear message has been sent to Islamabad that it will not be compatible.

General Vij also said that his experience has taught him that Pakistan is useless and lying is part of its ethos.

State-of-state terror

When asked about the recent enmity, the former Army Chief, who has written a new book, in the ring alone – Decision -Making in Critical Times’, said, “In many ways, I think this book has been predicted. Because I have written that my western neighbor is equally untrue that you can not really say anything about them.

General Vij recalled his conversation with General Takir Zia, who was a Pakistani DGMO during the Kargil war, and said that when the country’s tendency for lies and obfacing was very clear for him.

“You can tell that telling the lie is a part of his very ethos and ecosystem … Once, I told him, after Point 5140 (during the Kargil War), that we have received a lot of maps that were duly marked, all that could be said in response. ‘Art of’Which means ‘fool’ or ‘stupid’. This is the problem with them … they won’t tell the truth, “they said.

‘India will be vigilant’

The former army chief said that despite understanding with Pakistan, India will maintain a situation of vigilance for “some time” until it becomes clear which line on the other side. He said, it was also important because PM Narendra Modi has made it clear that any work of terror that arises in Pakistan will be seen as war work.

On Operation Sindoor, which was done in response to the initiative terrorist attack, in which 26 people were killed, General Vij said some important messages were sent to Pakistan.

“With all, we are concerned about nuclear reactions. Our anti -terrorism operations were restricted to an extent. Even during the Kargil War, we did not cross the line of control … Now, the PM said that your nuclear bluff is closed … We will not take it as a serious thing. To ensure that our national integrity is taken care of and they were stressed.

The former army chief said the fact that the three forces – the Army, Air Force and Navy – were also an important part of the message.

“They have been told that we will not hesitate to go to any extent to ensure that they are put in great difficulty. As, the country is, financially, completely, is completely broken and they are taking loans to pay their loans. Therefore, they will have to learn some places, sometimes the problem in Pakistan is that when Kargil says, it does not say.

War one option?

Asked whether Kargil and now and now wars have changed and what war is an alternative, the former army chief said he feels that India could “be” to any extent “if the Pakistani DGMO called and contacted his Indian counterpart last week.

“If you ask a soldier, I do not think war is an option, even though it is our job to fight and we will probably itch to fight many times. But the war never solves much. Finally, you have reached the table of conversation.

General Vij also stated that it is very difficult to predict anything about Pakistan because it is not clear whether it is an army or a government to control the army or vice versa.

“We are a very strong country and we have shown the world that we are very appropriate. The first briefing, which was given by the Foreign Secretary and two women officials – who did a great job – it was clarified that it was proportional. We went after terrorist goals and we did not want to unite. A weapon to unite the country.
