Jammu got dark in a row for the second night, when the explosions were heard and the sirens were seen in the region. Sharing a picture of Dark Sky, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah informed about the blackout in the region and said that he could “stop the explosions and heavy artillery” from where he was from where he was.

Last night, India thwarted Pakistan’s efforts to attack military sites with drones and missiles, including Jammu and Pathankot. This evening the government said that Pakistan targeted 36 sites in Jammu, Kashmir, Rajasthan and Punjab and removed about 300 to 400 drones.

This comes amidst heavy firing after Pakistan’s accurate strike at terrorist bases as part of ‘Operation Sindoor’ earlier this week.

‘Operation Sindoor’ was launched in response to a terrorist attack in Pahgam in Jammu and Kashmir, killing 26 people.
