New Delhi:
Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal said on Tuesday that the global community has shown a clear understanding of the plight of India and recognized that the Pahgam terror attack has targeted Indian tourists and that the sub -center of terrorism is crossing the border in Pakistan.
He said that many foreign leaders have accepted India’s right to protect themselves and protect their citizens, emphasizing that terrorism is in Pakistan.
Addressing a question of hypothesis between India and Pakistan, Mr. Jaiswal said while addressing Meya Briefing, “There is a comprehensive understanding in the world that Indian tourists were victims of terrorism in Pahgam and have been accepted to protect them. People have been accepted.”
He said, “I attract your attention to the press statement of the United Nations Security Council of April 25, stating that – ‘This condemnable work of terrorism needs to be maintained to maintain criminals, organizers, financiers and sponsors and to do justice.’ He further emphasized that those responsible for these murders should be held accountable. “
Shri Jaiswal also spoke about the prosecution of the Indus Water Treaty (IWT) and highlighted that the treaty was originally established on the principles of goodwill and friendship, “Pakistan has prosecuted these principles with its promotion of cross-border terrorism.”
After the decision of “CCS (Cabinet Committee on Security), the Indus Water Treaty has been put in the Abhay. I would like to withdraw you a little. IWT was made a treaty in the spirit of goodwill and friendship, which was specified in the preamble of the treaty. As long as Pakistan ends its support for terrorism, until Pakistan ends its support for terrorism.
During the press briefing, Mr. Jaiswal also said that Pakistan’s attempt to avoid the results of its works is meaningless, which is a long history of supporting terrorism. He said that the site of terrorist infrastructure destroyed by India was responsible for the deaths of not only Indians but many other innocent people around the world.
“We have seen the statement made by the Pakistani side. That a nation that has nurtured terrorism on an industrial scale should think that it can avoid the consequences, fooling itself. Terrorist infrastructure sites that destroy India were not only responsible for the death of Indians, but now a new normal.
Mr. Jaiswal’s remarks came in their first interview after Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, in her first interview after the time of enmity between India and Pakistan, said Islamabad had “no alternative”, but to start an attack in “self-defense” after the cross-limit attacks of 7 May of India.
Dar referred to India’s attacks as “war” and “wishful attempt to establish its suzerainty” and claimed that “we are sure that our traditional abilities and abilities are quite strong that we would beat them both on air and ground.”
