Sources said that an Indian national today allegedly urinated a fellow passenger on a Delhi-Bangkok Air India flight.

While Air India confirmed an incident of uncontrolled passenger behavior in a statement, it did not mention the nature of the incident.

Sources said that the passenger was drunk on board flight AI 2336 and a company managing director was urinated.

Sources said the matter has been informed to the authorities, and Air India offered to help the “aggrieved passenger” in Bangkok, the sources said, action can be taken against the uncontrolled passenger.

The airline said in a statement that the “aggrieved passenger” refused to help with the officials after landing in Bangkok.

Focusing on the incident, Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjrapu said that officials of news agency ANI will talk to the airline.

“Whenever such incidents occur, the ministry pays attention to them. They will talk to the airline, and if there is any wrongdoing, we will take necessary action,” said Mr. Kinjarapu.

Air India said in a statement that the crew followed all the procedures.

In November 2024, an alcoholic man allegedly urinated an elderly woman in an Air India flight business class.
