New Delhi:
The aircraft of any enemy was not allowed to come under hundreds of kilometers in the Indian region during Pakistan’s efforts to target the establishments of the country last week, the Director General of Naval Operations, Vice Admiral A. Pramod said on Monday.
He said any suspected or hostile aircraft with the presence of Navy aircraft carrier, a large number of MiG 29 fighters and airborne early warning helicopters were prevented from getting closer to the “Career Battle Group”.
Vice Admiral’s comment came into a press briefing on ‘Operation Sindoor’, which was launched by the armed forces on the night of 7 and 8 May intervention to target terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK), which killed 26 tourists and a Nepli in response to the April Pahgam terror attack.
India’s vengeance inspired the forces to be vigilant as Pakistani forces made three attempts to target military establishments using drones and missiles in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat. According to the Ministry of Defense, the hazards were rapidly neutralized.
Mr. Pramode said that marine force used several sensors and inputs, so that they could degrade or neutralize the dangers to emerge or appear.
He reported that the Indian Navy works as a holistic network force, which is able to address the dangers emanating from all domains – air, surface and sub -colors together – through the co -operative of advanced sensors, synchronized on the combat management system.
“In fact the marine force is capable of constant monitoring, detection and identity for a broader domain awareness, which has a comprehensive pira domain awareness including air space. Effectively using several sensors and inputs, we are maintaining frequent monitoring or thwarting threats as they ensure to emerge or appear,” they said.
He said that such tasks are conducted under the umbrella of a broad and effectively layered fleet air defense mechanisms, which completes for all dangers, it is also a monitoring aircraft along with both drones or high -speed missiles or aircraft.
