Indian travel firms comfortably Cox and Kings Travomint suspended package for Türkiye, Azerbaijan amidst Indo-Pak struggle

In a strong response by Türkiye and Azerbaijan to support Pakistan in the ongoing struggle, major travel companies have suspended all packages in these two countries.

The move follows the two countries that expanded public support for Pakistan during the ongoing struggle with India, especially after ‘Operation Sindoor’ which targeted the terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-Quiz Kashmir (POK).

Easemytrip, Cox & Kings and Travomint have announced a complete stop on booking Turkey and Azerbaijan, align with national spirit and showing increasing concern over security and diplomatic implications.

This decision marks a broader industry change, where businesses are rapidly thinking about their international busyness and impact on national interests.

Karan Aggarwal, director of Cox and Kings, said, “In the light of recent developments, we have decided to stop all new journey offerings for Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Turkey. This decision is motivated by our commitment to maintains the principles that matters deeply for us and the people of our country.”

He advised Indian travelers to avoid these sites until the situation became clear.

Easemytrip founder and president Nishant Pitti emphasized the importance of passenger safety in these uncertain times.

He said, “In deepening the recent developments. In Ischular, the safety of travelers is our top priority. We advise all our customers to take full care before planning in sensitive areas and be updated on official travel advice,” he said.

Travomints joined the movement shortly after. Confirming the company’s stance, CEO Alok K Singh said, “Due to increasing tension with countries like Pakistan and Turkey and Azerbaijan, supporting it, we have taken a firm and responsible stand in the travomint.

Singh mentioned, “We have decided to support Indians’ calls for boycott of Türkiye and Azerbaijan.”

This wave of action expressed solidarity with both Türkiye and Azerbaijan, which is followed by India’s retaliation at terrorist places.

Azerbaijan’s government issued a statement condemning India’s military action, expressing concern over the number of civic casualties and urged diplomatic resolution.

Similarly, the Turkish Foreign Ministry described India’s aerial attack as a “stimulating” step and warned of the risk of war on a full scale. India is being used by Pakistan by Pakistan.
