India’s mobile shipment saw an 8 percent increase in Q2 2025, iPhone 16 led the chart: Report

According to the market research firm, India’s smartphone shipment has increased from year to year in the second quarter of 2025. Additionally, Apple’s iPhone 16 has been most sent in this quarter, indicating the demand for the high market.

Two technical giants, Apple and Samsung, imprisoned it by launching trade-in programs, offering easy no-cost EMI and special summer discounts. These tricks made the flagship handset inexpensive and accessible to the aspiring consumer. In addition, Samsung topped the list in the list, taking over 23 percent market share.

However, Apple’s iPhone 16 Q2 became the most shipded handset, indicating a strong market demand. This was mainly due to ongoing promotion, extended EMI option and better retail execution. This is the most Q2 shipment that has ever been recorded by Tech Giant.

In terms of volume, Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo grabbed the top position, except IQOO. The company was able to achieve this with the help of strong demand in Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000 price category. Vivo Y and T series handsets performed best. Samsung, looking at the second highest volume, was supported by its “aggressive” summer offers on the Galaxy A and S series phones.
