The government is facing the waves of both crises and the party she leads the head of Mamata Banerjee and the party she leads, saying that critics say that the West Bengal assembly elections may affect the popular mandate next year. As the Chief Minister, Mamta faces allegations of being responsible for the loss of about 26,000 school jobs following the Supreme Court order in a recruitment scam. And, as the President of the Trinamool Congress (TMC), he will have to deal with a major rift, where top leaders are reportedly involved in a condemnable public place.
Flashback from past
In both cases, it is being said that the response is very low, it is too late. This and other such incidents have raised the question, has Mamta alertly decided to handle the situation with velvet gloves, or is her iron fist really losing her grip? The Chief Minister of West Bengal, who is known for his patience and flexibility, rode power in the state in 2011, behind the allegations against a three -decade -old Left government. Unfortunately and irony is that today the opposition has accused them on a similar basis: corruption, political misconduct and administrative disqualification.
Sarada Ponzi Yojana and Narada Sting, as well as scams related to smuggling of cattle and coal and recruitment of teachers have stopped TMC in the last few years. In June 2019, Mamta, perhaps for the first time, had publicly cheated party workers on “cut money”; His comment was largely seen as an acknowledgment of rot. In fact, she used to direct her party members at all levels to return the “commission” extracted from the beneficiaries of even welfare schemes; Some leaders did according to the instructions, although not all followed her dick.
‘Lick’ chat
Since then, a couple of other strange incidents have shaken the party. Recently, TMC members were caught squabaling on camera inside the Election Commission of India. This was followed by an outbreak on his WhatsApp chat group, which was again leaked. The president of the party was informed about the spat by a female MP, allegedly asked the leaders not to publicly comment on the issue. Nevertheless, some leaders moved forward and put their heart to the media.
Incidentally, one of these MPs faced internal opposition when he was nominated as a candidate in the final Lok Sabha elections. So there were some other leaders. However, at that time, Mamta had become strong and they all moved forward to contest elections – and victory – election. But it seems that tension persists, with a rift, a large -scale TMC is being seen as a “old vs. youth” fight, and, even more importantly, arises from the aunt and her successor and her successor and Diamond Harbor MP, Abhishek Banerjee, by a margin in opinion. Even when Mmata was leaving for a commercial meeting for the UK on 22 March and a lecture at Oxford, posters came on the streets of Kolkata, led by Nephew. That was not the first time. Both have been aligned about the emergence of the fighting “camps”. Abhishek’s “followers” have personally mentioned that Mamta’s political and administrative methods are “ancient” and the party needs to be “modernized”. On the other hand, Mamta’s loyalists say that this “modernization” is actually the “Corporation” of TMC. The two leaders conserve such “followers” and their opinion is a matter of speculation. But the slip is showing.
Do not bow down to anyone?
Conflicts at the lower levels at the party have also given rise to one-up time and road quarrel. It has affected public perception and is seen as one of the various reasons, leading to Mmata’s exit from some reliable lieutenants, including Mukul Roy and Suwandu Adikari (although although they are also accused that the ship jumped to avoid action in some sticky cases). Many other allies of Mamta are currently involved in scams, although some of them are on bail and are lie less. Overall, his reliable circle is shrinking, and he appears to be torn between the management of his party and running his government.
In August last year, a brutal killing of a trainee at RG Car Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata and subsequent protests has only added dissatisfaction against Mamta. When the issue shook the nation, it was Abhishek, who abolished the silence of TMC and asked the police chief to take action against those who vandalized a site where the protesters gathered. He also raised the issue of strengthening laws against rapists. Soon, the administration came into action; The wandals were picked up, negotiations with the protesting doctors were initiated, and security measures were implemented. However, with curiosity, before the year ended, Abhishek quietly withdrawn from space, focusing on his job as a Lok Sabha MP and focusing rather than giving a fierce speech in Parliament.
Perhaps he did this because he knows that currently, it is only her aunt’s appearance and charisma that can earn a winning mandate to TMC. Yes, he is aware that he will have to take it on mental someday, but that day is no longer. As Mamta, it would not be completely out of character if she has already called a meeting with leaders of mistakes and has given each of them an earful. Perhaps she has already established what the force behind two leaks was. But this is not far from the fact that perhaps for the first time, it is also a Mamta that is struggling to prevent its party and the government from collapse from within.
