Instagram accounts of many Pakistani actors including Hania Aamir are blocked in India

Popular Pakistani artists, including actors Mahira Khan, Hania Aamir and Ali Zafar, blocked their Instagram account in India a few days after the deadly attack in Kashmir, targeting tourists that New Delhi convicted Islamabad.

In 2016, no Pakistani actor worked in the Indian film industry after terrorists at an Indian Army base in Uri in Jammu and Kashmir.

Last Tuesday, militants attacked Holidayckers, enjoying the picturesque initiative in a green valley under the Himalayas peaks, 26 died. The survivors said that the terrorists separated the men, asked many people about their religion, and shot them closely. Except for one from Nepal, all were 26 killed Indian citizens.

The move to block the accounts of the actors comes on the government’s heels, which ban 16 Pakistani YouTube channels to spread stimulating and communally sensitive material.

Hania Aamir, who is popular with Indian fans for her Pakistani plays, commented on the “mere Hamsafar” and “Kabhi Main Kabi Tum”, while commenting on the Pahalgam attack, saying that the tragedy is a tragedy for all anywhere.

“My heart is with innocent life affected by recent events. In pain, in sorrow, and in hope, we are one. When innocent life is lost, the pain is not alone-this is of all of us. It doesn’t matter where we come from, sorrow speaks the same language. Do we choose humanity,” he said.

Mahira Khan made her Bollywood debut in 2017 with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees.

A day after Pahalgam’s attack, India announced punitive measures against Pakistan, suspending the Indus Waters Treaty, the only operation in Attari was discontinued the land border crossing and downgrating diplomatic relations in view of cross -border links for the attack.

In response, Pakistan shut down its airspace to Indian airlines and suspended all trade with India through third countries. Pakistan rejected the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty of India and said that any step to stop the flow of water would be seen as a “war work”.
