Apple’s iOS developer Beta 5 update was rolled out for the eligible iPhone model on Tuesday. Currently available to developers and beta testers, this involves subtle changes in previous recurrence launched last month. Dynamic Island now displays a warning when the iPhone battery is running low on iOS 26. Meanwhile, Apple added a new animation when entering your passcode on the lock screen. Other minor changes include new splash screen for Apple’s apps, a broad home screen dock and a new control center animation.

The iOS 26 Beta 5 update for iPhone comes with the build number 23A5308G. However, Apple has not disclosed changes that are part of the update. Instead, the release notes carry a common message stating that “iOS 26 Beta gives you an initial preview of upcoming apps, features and technologies.”

Apple already displays information when the iPhone battery falls below a certain level on the previous versions of iOS, but the dynamic island notification should be easier to notice and take action for users.
In addition, Apple Music, Freeform and Notes apps have new splash screens, which inform users about all new features in iOS 26. Siri has also obtained a new future facility that can determine that you have a plan to travel outside the country and automatically display suggestions for cellular connectivity, according to the report.
Other reported features include a new aircraft sheet in the share sheet, a dedicated selection button in the mail app, a broad dock on the iPhone’s home screen and a new icon for fitness+ option in the fitness app.
