Citing local mobile phone providers, German publication iPhone-Ticker.De claims that Apple iPhone will unveil 17 series On 9 September. Cupertino-based tech giants are expected to stick to their general post-skin-launch schedule for this year’s iPhone series.
If this claim is correct, we can expect a pre-order for the iPhone 17 lineup to start on Friday, September 12. Official sales and shipments are said to start a week later, on 19 September.
The latest report aligns with earlier rumors, stating that the iPhone 17 series will be announced in the second week of September. Mark Gurman of Bloomberg first indicated that the event could be scheduled between September 8 and 12 September.
Apple usually announces the flagship iPhone series in September. For reference, the iPhone 16 series was announced on 9 September last year during its ‘Its Glomtime’ event, while the iPhone 15 lineup started on September 12, 2023 at its ‘Wonderlst’ event.
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 17 series as well as its third generation Airpods Pro and new Apple Watch model. Reports suggest that standard iPhone 17 models will ship with A19 chip, while pro versions can run on the A19 Pro chipset. The 6.3 -inch display in standard iPhone 17 and Pro is expected. The iPhone 17 Air can get a 6.5 -inch screen, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max can come with a 6.9 -inch screen.
