JEE Advanced 2025: Closing Examination, Reaction Paper to be out on 22 May

JEE Advanced 2025: JEE Advanced 2025 concluded today, with the first paper from 9 am to 12 noon, and paper from 2 to 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. The examinations were conducted by IIT Kanpur for a total of 2.5 lakh candidates. Students who clean the exam will be eligible for admission in graduate engineering programs in the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs).

Official JEE advanced 2025 response sheet will be released on 22 May, and the provisional answer key will be out on 26 May jeeadv.ac.inThe final question paper PDF is also expected to be published on the website.

JEE Advanced 2025: How to challenge Provisional Answer Key

In case of any discrepancy in the provisional answer key, candidates will be allowed to increase objections during the specified window.

JEE Advanced 2025: Steps to increase objections:

  • Go to the official website – jeeadv.ac.in,
  • Candidates log in to the portal using your registration number, date of birth and registered mobile number.
  • Click on the “Challenge Answer Key” link.
  • Select the question you want to challenge.
  • Provide a valid clarification for each challenge and upload auxiliary documents.
  • Pay the applied fee (if any) for each question challenged.

JEE Advanced 2025: Marking Scheme

  • MCQ (single correct): +3 for the correct answer; 1 for wrong answer
  • MCQ (Multiple Right): +4 marked for all the correct options; +1 for each correct choice; -1 Marked for any wrong option
  • Numerical value type: +3 (within tolerance) for the right value; Incorrect or unaware
  • Match lists / paragraph-based: variable icon; On-screen instructions
