Karnataka Minister’s shocker on sex assault video

Amid displeasure over a video in which a man is seen catching a woman on a Bengaluru road before fleeing, Karnataka’s Home Minister will be involved in public anger with the comment of God. Responding to questions on the shocking video, the minister in charge of law and order has said that such incidents can happen in a big city like Bengaluru.

The minister has said that he is pressurizing the police of the city to improve patrolling. “I keep asking the police commissioner to be careful daily, to monitor all areas through patrol.

In a CCTV video that has now gone viral, a man is seen following two women in a street in the BTM layout neighborhood. Suddenly, he catches one of the women while the other tries to defend him. The man then ran away from the place. Fearful of the incident, women are seen walking away.

The police have registered a case under classes related to attack, sexual harassment and chase. But they do not know the identity of the woman because she has not come forward to file a complaint.

The BJP has killed the Siddaramaiah government regarding this incident. The opposition party has stated that the viral video has highlighted the reality of the city’s law and order situation and claimed that Bengaluru is becoming “rapidly unsafe” for women.

BJP spokesperson Prasanth ji said, “This is such a insensitive remark. Is he normalizing sexual harassment and crimes against women? He is away from responsibility and does not want to be accountable.”

BJP MLA and former Deputy Chief Minister Ashwath Narayan said that the comment of the state’s Home Minister reflects his helplessness.

Shri Narayan said, “The incident of grooping is condemnable. The Home Minister’s response is disgusting and decomposing. People are losing confidence due to these incidents and statements. His statement shows how helpless he is as a home minister. He should give a responsible statement,” Shri Narayan said.
