The All India Students Association (AISA) in Jamia condemned the attack, called it a serious security lapse.

AISA has criticized security staff, claiming that they stood during the incident and allowed the accused to enter the premises uncontrollably. “Despite having a heavy military military place, the university has repeatedly failed to ensure security,” AISA said. The group demanded a transparent investigation, strict action against the culprit and accountability of the security personnel involved.
