Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) executive president KT Ram Rao said that Telangana has been converted into ATMs by the Congress government led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, later nominated in the National Herald Case Charge sheet.
Slipping the Congress for corruption in his DNA, he asked why senior party leader Rahul Gandhi is being named Mr. Reddy in the Enforcement Directorate Chargesheet in the National Herald Money Laundering case.
Mr. Reddy visited Delhi 44 times, Mr. Rao asked if he had gone to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah to avoid going to jail.
Saying that the Congress had demanded the former Chief Minister of Karnataka after Yeddyurappa’s resignation after being nominated in a corruption case in 2019, Mr. Rao said that Mr. Reddy should also step down from the top post in the state. He further alleged that the Chief Minister is sending “sack of currency to fund Delhi” in the context of the Congress High Command in the national capital.
Mr. Rao said that Telangana has lost its pride, while the Center has been given a month’s time. Taking unsuccessful action, he said that he would meet the governor and seek Mr. Reddy’s prosecution.
Mr. Rao made this comment a day after calling Mallikrajun Kharge-led party “Scamgress” and said that everyone’s eyes would be on whether the BJP-led government in the center takes action or like Shri Reddy, like the Telangana Civil Supply Scam and Multi-Garr Amarut Scam, like Mr. Reddy.
Shri Rao also said on Friday that Telangana rule is filled with “corruption and commission deals”. He said, “The ED has officially exposed the baggman of Telangana. Revent Reddy has been caught impressing the donors with political promises. He has already built a corrupt empire before assuming office. Since becoming CM, he expanded it to a multi-domineering crore crore scam,” he said.
