HTECH CEO Madhav Sheth has revealed that he has joined the NXTCell to lead the launch of Alcatel smartphone in India. The step comes soon after Alcatel announced his plan to return to the Indian smartphone market. The French brand independently operated by TCL communication under a trademark license from Nokia has been inactive in the Indian smartphone sector for the past few years. Sheth is likely to maintain its position in HTECH, which acts as a distributor of Honor in India. Meanwhile, Sheth launched the launch of new honor products soon after disclosing his participation with NXTCell.

In an X post on Tuesday, Madhav Sheth announced his close cooperation with the NXTCell team. “I am thrilled to announce the launch of the Alcatel smartphone in India. I am working closely with the NXTCell team, which promotes patented innovation, to promote technology transfer, and ensure that local manufacturing technology aligns with India’s vision for self-sufficiency,” said Shat.

He said that technology agreements are signed, and local manufacturing efforts are determined to strengthen India’s technical ecosystem and play a major role in expanding export capabilities.
