After India’s attacks in many parts of Pakistan, including Pakistan -occupied Kashmir and Pakistan Punjab, major airports in the country will remain closed for 48 hours.
On Wednesday at 1.44 pm, India carried out accurate attacks at at least two places as part of ‘Operation Sindhor’ in Punjab and two – Kotli and Muzaffarabad in Pakistan – Muridaka and Bahawalpur – Pakistan -Kabje. On April 22, attacks were carried out in response to a terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, killing 26 people, including two Navy and Intelligence Bureau officials.
All three branches of the Indian Armed Forces – Army, Navy and Air Force – were included in Operation Sindoor, in which at least nine terrorist bases were killed in Pakistan. The goals included Muridke’s headquarters-the headquarters of the Pahalgam attack-and Bahawalpur, which is the basis of Jaish-e-Mohammed, led by Masood Azhar.
Responding to India’s diplomatic measures after the initiative attack, Pakistan had shut down its airspace for Indian airlines and has now shut down major airports for 48 hours.
India has also announced that no civil flight will be operated from Srinagar Airport on Wednesday.
In a statement, the Ministry of Defense described the strike as a “accurate and restrained response” for the barbaric Pahgam terror attack and insisted that no Pakistani military facilities were killed showing India’s “calibrated and non-escleratory approach”.
Emphasizing the nature of the retaliation of the strike, the ministry said, “This operation underlines India’s resolve to make criminals accountable while avoiding unnecessary provocative.”
India has also said that it hopes that Pakistan worked against terrorists after the Pahalgam attacks, but instead “indulged in refusal”.
Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that five places were attacked and the country “has the right to respond”. The Pakistan Army also opened the fire of artillery along the Line of Control in the Bhimber Gali region of the Poonch-Rajouri region, which has been running for more than 10 days while maintaining a violation of the ceasefire.
India has informed several countries after accurate attacks including the United States, in which National Security Advisor Ajit Doval has spoken to its American counterpart Marco Rubio.
