Police said that a person was killed after a car caught fire at Bijwasan Road flyover in Chanakyapuri area of the national capital.
The incident occurred at around 10.32 pm on Monday, after which the firefighters of the Delhi Fire Service quickly responded and reached the spot.
DFS officials extinguished the flames and discovered a charge body inside the car, when examining the burnt vehicle.
The causes of the car identification and the fire are currently being investigated by the police.
While the exact circumstances around the event are unclear, officials are working to determine whether it was an accident or can be attributed to another reason.
The matter is under investigation, more details are awaited on this incident.
In another incident, a seven -year -old boy was allegedly injured in an accident involving a car in the Sainik Enclave area of New Delhi, police said on Monday evening.
Delhi Police said that they came to know about injured in an accident at BHD Nagar Police Station.
Police said, “Police arrived, and it was discovered that a boy at the age of 7, who was a resident of the Senic Enclave, was admitted to the hospital and is in a stable position.”
According to Delhi Police, the car has been confiscated, and legal action is being taken.
